Head videographer, owner & Director
At Dagga Boy Films, we believe every hunt deserves to be remembered, not just through trophies, but through story. Founded by professional hunter and filmmaker Robin Gratz, the company was built from a passion for capturing the raw emotion, challenge, and beauty of Africa’s wild places.
From the rolling hills of the Eastern Cape to the vast wilderness of Africa, Dagga Boy Films brings the adventure to life through cinematic storytelling. Every moment, from the first track in the sand to the final sunset over camp, is filmed with purpose, authenticity, and respect for the hunt. We don’t re-enact scenes or stage moments; every frame is captured as it happens, in real time, exactly as the story unfolds.
Our goal is simple: to preserve your experience so you can relive it for years to come. Whether it’s a once in a lifetime Dangerous Game pursuit or your first plains game safari, we craft each film to reflect the spirit of the hunter and the essence of the wild.
Because when the dust settles and the hunt is over, the story remains, and that’s where we come in.
