Hi, I’m Robin Gratz
I grew up with a rifle in one hand and a camera in the other. Hunting has always been more than a pursuit for me, it’s a way of life. The early mornings, the tracks in the dust, the silence before the shot, those moments shaped who I am.
Over the years, my passion for hunting evolved into a deep love for storytelling. I started filming hunts not just to record the success, but to capture everything that makes a safari truly special, the people, the places, the emotions, and the respect behind every pull of the trigger.
Through Dagga Boy Films, I bring those stories to life as they happen, raw, real, and unfiltered. No re-enactments, no staging, just honest moments that show what hunting is really about connection, challenge, and the wild beauty of Africa.
Filming the hunt isn’t about showing off a trophy, it’s about preserving the feeling of being there.
